Not to confuse with the to-go cater Huong Giang, this is an old school Mom and Pop owned restaurant specializing in bún bò Huế, Huong Giang restaurant. I ordered the đặc biệt small bowl and it was plentiful. Great flavors in the broth and came with so much meat! I wished it was serving boiling hot but other than that, excellent bún bò Huế. Friendly service and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Amazing dishes and one of the best catering places! The menu is gigantic and they offer both dining as well as to-go catering. They have a majority of all the popular Vietnamese dishes and everything is super tasty. * Bún Bò Huế Đặc Biệt: 8/10 - good broth, comes with all the typical meat and veggies * Bánh Nậm Lá: 9/10 - tasty, but wish they gave more than 10 * Mì Quảng: 9/10 - comes with tons of meat and veggies The restaurant has plenty of tables inside and the workers are very attentive. It's located in a large plaza with different shops so there's plenty of parking. We'll definitely be back to try all the other foods!

UPDATE: Still the same lol. Bun Bo hue is good if you're close and you want other hue dishes too. The noodle soup has depth and is generously served with slices of meat and tendon. Soup temp is a bit cool compared to how I like it...but I appreciate all the accruements on the table. Love how they offer other dishes like their bahn bot Lộc (tapioca dumplings) or their fresh rice noodle wraps with beef. Servers are sweet grandpas and still old school family run. Perk: they accept Apple Pay!

I came here on a recommendation from a friend because I've just been on a hunt for nem chua. They said their nem was not done fermenting yet. And honestly we didn't want to leave empty handed so I asked if I could buy 2 eggrolls and when I tried to pay they just said it's a gift. && the eggrolls were so good!! I will 100% come back for any party trays.

We always order to go. Usually we would call them ahead of time and order a day before and come pick up the next day. This place is usually busy so wait is always long. If we cannot order the day before, we come early and line up and order. Wait is usually 40-45 mins. The service is like any other Vietnamese restaurant. Straight to the point, order, get your food and pay. If you expect 5 star service, you're at the wrong place. It's always loud being a heavy Asian foot traffic area with all the ppl coming to get their orders or eating there but the to go trays are a good size. We love their banh out thit nuong. Always a hit and yummy to have at parties but a bit pricey. For us, it's a once in a while thing. Just know the plaza is always busy and parking is always a struggle. Typical Asian plaza since it can be hectic and busy.

There are only two places I ever go for bún bò Huế: my mom's kitchen and Huong Giang. I've tried countless spots around Westminster, from Vy Da to Quan Hy and beyond, but none hit the mark quite like Huong Giang. Other places often miss the rich, bold broth that makes bún bò Huế special, and I've found the meat portions skimpy--usually loaded with tofu instead. At Huong Giang, though, I can count on a flavorful, hearty broth with plenty of meat in every bowl. Beyond the bún bò, I'd recommend almost any of their banh dishes. Their bánh cuốn, bánh bèo, bánh bột lọc, and my personal favorite, bánh nậm, are all outstanding. The fillings are generous, with tasty, well-seasoned shrimp, and the fish sauce is perfectly balanced--sweet with just a hint of spice. For the food alone, I'd give them five stars, but overall, I'd rate it four stars. They're sometimes closed even when their hours say they'll be open, which can be frustrating. If you're looking for amazing service and a sleek, modern ambiance, this might not be your spot. Huong Giang is authentically Vietnamese in every sense: the decor is modest, and while the staff is friendly, the experience is focused on the food, not the frills. For a true taste of Vietnamese cooking, though, it's hard to beat.

Wife and I were in search of something comforting and soothing for the soul. Sundays just have that type of vibe and Huong Giang delivered exactly what we were looking for. Our families have ordered their banh uot thit nuong (charbroiled pork) and bun bo hue before - but only at their to-go location. This was the first time dining at the restaurant and it's just as delicious! The rice paper on the outside of the banh uot is SO good. It's definitely one of my favorites. I don't think I'd be exaggerating if I said I could finish a whole tray to myself. The rice paper is springy, chewy, and the perfect thickness. The inside is filled with thit nuong, lettuce, bean sprouts, and rau ram (Vietnamese coriander). The order comes with 4 rolls. Their BBH is excellent. My wife and I have been to many different places throughout GG and a lot of the times it's either mediocre at best or mid. Besides our go-to spot for BBH, theirs is pretty good here! Very balanced, not too oily, and generous with the vermicelli. I was personally craving rice, so I ordered their dac biet rice plate which came with 2 different cha lua and thit nuong. It also comes with a small bowl of soup on the side which was perfect. It reminded me of home cooking which was exactly what I wanted. While their menu is fairly limited, they focus on what they're known for and what they're good at. The to-go trays are excellent for family gatherings and parties and the food is just as good at their restaurant. I absolutely look forward to coming back again soon!
